How Can You Help?
Camp Endobanah is now a recognized charity with the CRA. If you would like to make a donation please contact us. We issue tax receipts for donations >$25.
We schedule 2 work weekends every year to complete maintenance on the camp and prepare it for the upcoming seasons. These occur on the last weekends in October and April. You will find these dates on our events calendar.
If you would like to attend and volunteer we would be happy to have you. More hands the merrier.
We have launched our fundraising drive to raise money for our Main Lodge Renovation project. The project entails upgrading the lodge furnace, windows and doors as well as improving the electrical and interior finishes. Along with the generous financial support of OTF, we aim to make this project a huge success!
We have generous donors matching our donations and our goal is to raise $30 000 by December 31, 2024 to achieve our $60 000 overall total.
Can we count on your support?
Watch the FNE Scouts Prep the Lodge to allow the work to begin:
Ever wonder why the Main Lodge needs a renovation? The lodge began it's life in the 1940's as the temporary Women's quarters for the TTC. During WWII, many male employees were overseas and women replaced them as TTC operators. After WWII ended the building was slated for demolition. The 23 Toronto Scout Group dismantled the building and reused the wood to erect the lodge at Camp Endobanah - where it still stands and is used today! That is a bit of interesting history and a great example of the 4R's of recycling before it's time!
Nov 20 - well done! We have maximized our matching donor contributions. A few more donations will allow us to meet our goal!

Where does the money go?
The camp is completely managed and maintained by volunteers, so every penny of your donation goes to the camp. We raise money to provide regular maintenance on the grounds and buildings. Looking to the future, we hope to invest in larger projects to update the washroom and bunk cabin sleeping facilities.

"We have rented several camps over the years and Camp Endobanah is the most beautiful by far. There is a deep sense of peace around the property. We now enjoy it as our home for our overnight camp and appreciate the heritage and how well maintained it is."
